Was doubtful considering I wore and liked the earlier iteration for many years. I do not like the current design as much. That being said after a few weeks of use I really do like these. Like the earlier iteration it appears cruelty free (No skins) and looks good either dressed up or down. They are unexpectedly well cushioned for Toms and the lacing have just enough stretch/pull after tying them off at the top. I did have to go down a half size though. Overall am pleased with these.

Great looking shoe. I really like the hidden lace design for a clean look, but the laces aren't adjustable, so my thin feet need a tighter lace, but I couldn't adjust the elastic laces. I had to tie a knot to adjust each lace. Not elegant, and I with Toms had engineered a better solution for a larger range of fits.
